Although we are a small company, we still believe in contributing to the community in any way we can. In most cases the best we can do is to offer our services for free to non-profit organizations and other small clubs.
We have established a working relationship for the past 2 years with the Fogolar Furlan Club of Windsor and provide them with their website maintenance free of charge. The Fogolar is nearly 50 years old and has helped to keep Northern Italian traditions alive here in Windsor to second- and third-generation Furlans.
We have also recently been helping
LaSalle Mariners Yacht Club
install new features into their website like a photo gallery and a forum to help them attract new members to the classic sport
of sailing. The Mariners also hold annual regattas and in order to promote these events they require posters and other
media to advertise. We've helped them prepare a poster for their first regatta this year, Shakedown (pictured to the left)
which is being held on May 17, 2008.
Finally, we are an active supporter of the Häagen-Dazs initiative to Help the Honey Bees. According to Häagen-Dazs, we rely on honey bees for one third of our food supply, both directly through the use of their honey and indirectly through the millions of fruits, vegetables, and nuts that they help pollinate. Above all, without honey bees, there would be hundreds of tasty ice cream flavours that we wouldn't be able to enjoy!
